Santorum says Dems appease, retreat


On Wednesday Rick Santorum said of this week's Democratic Primary Election in Connecticut:

"The Democrats have shown their true face. They've shown they are the party of cut and run. They are the party of appeasement and retreat."

Then, on Thursday Rick accused Democrats of playing politics with the war on terror. Let us know when your head stops spinning.

Santorium should have said, we already know that Democrats may win in a Primary but they can't win in the General Election. The exception, Howard Dean can't win in a primary.

Goofy Lamont supports employer-based health insurance like Hillary, Casey and the Democrat Leadersip Council (DLC). If your employer is "Casey for US SENATE", and you get cancer, can you keep your employer-based coverage after the election? Let me help you. The answer is a 2 letter word that begins with the letter N.

If Casey can't take care of his own employees and their children, should we let Casey have a say on the healthcare for all Americans? Casey needs to bone up on healthcare quick. Employer-based health insurance can be cruel. Santorium supports low cost, portable, individual health insurance combined with a tax free HSA.

Yes I would rather have Casey, than K street Rick. He is in the pockets of the insurance companies, just look at Plan D. And he is using the same lies as 6 years ago on Tv. Has he done anything in the last 6 years for PA.,I say No. Lets give Casey a shot at the senate, and let Rick work on K street full time.

Good post. My feelings exactly. Casey deserves a shot. He is guaranteed to be better than a Senator who is really out of touch with his own state, cares more for K street interests than the people of his own state and, along with the rest of the GOP Congress, has not done his job. Rick Santorum is a fraud of a U.S. Senator. He's the tall, good looking guy who has fooled the people of Pennsylvania twice. But not so this year. Ricky, your number is up.

I believe Rick has supported every view point atleast twice. He comes up with pandering arguments around election time, and when and if he wins, he goes back to his employer, the largest corporations of the US and finds out what it is that they want. He then supports that on the record. Dan is right. Look at Santorums record not the doublespeak that pours out of his mouth around election time.

Any examination of these remarks of Mr. Santorum is futile to a laughable degree. He (like almost all these righties and dominionists) are hoping against hope that the public is stupid and plaible enough to really take this seriously. He (as they do) assume that the public, having merely a public school history education, will not already know that this Nazi analogy is mislaid if THEY use it. I have news for him: what they are presently embarking on IS fascism and any corelation they can draw to the 1930's in Germany more aptly point to them. since (like the Nazis) they came to power on a pretext and used a national disaster as an excuse to remove civil liberties and establish a dictatorship (oh, I'm sorry, "a unitary presidency"), and broaden corporate power and influence in government (Mussolini's own definition of Fascismo). Of course Mr. Santorum has been referred as "one of the greatest minds of the 15th Century. I think this fits.
