During his speech to the PA Press Club, Rick took a moment to lament the fact that people in America "tend to play politics" with the war on terror. Somehow Rick is delusional enough to believe that he doesn't participate in those games. Anyway, one example Rick gave of what happens as a result of war politicking is that, "good men like Joe Lieberman lose elections because of it, which is a tragedy." Here's the video:

Ned Lamont threw his hat in the ring to run for the democratic Senate candidate of CT. He ran a primary campaign. He got more votes than his opponent. He won.
That's not a tragedy. It's called Democracy.
You'd think it was the end of civilization but the truth is that it represents the beginning of the end of modern conservatism's political grip on things.
Republicans hate the media because it tells the truth and they hate functioning democracy because they can't control it.
"Joe! You've been done wrong!" they're telling him.
What a club they're running in DC these days.
